Be Careful What You Wish For

A few things worth mentioning…
Today I sat in on a very instructive “lighting for video” class at the Northwest Film Center, and on the way home I got my ninth — yes ninth! — flat tire in the last two months. Tomorrow, I’m going to buy new tires.
This afternoon, I used the last of my favorite organic shaving cream, which I bought while visiting my parents in April of 2006. It took me one year and four months to use a 6 oz. tube. That’s how often I shave.
On Saturday, I went to my third fortieth birthday party of the summer, all for gay men. Last year at this time, I think I knew maybe three people over thirty, but now I have an entire social group of guys who are actually quite close to my own age. File that under “be careful what you wish for.”
